This weekend at HOYTS and the Australian box office, Spider-Man: Brand New Day swung into number one once again with $2.25M, bringing its total cume to $83.9M, where this movie is now the highest-grossing film across the premium format SCREENX. At number two was The Odyssey with $2.09M, which brings its total thus far to $63.1M. New Hindi title Mirzapur: The Movie debuted at number three with $477k, while the survival thriller Fall 2: Deadpoint debuted at number four with $446k on its opening weekend. Rounding out the top five was Cars (20th Anniversary re-release), where Lightning McQueen and friends drove in $438k. The top 10 movies together contributed to 77% of the total national box office gross for the weekend. Action remains victorious as the top genre of the weekend with the continued reign of Spider-Man: Brand New Day and The Odyssey at the Australian Box Office.

9. The End of Oak Street brought home $272k this weekend, taking the movie’s total at the box office to $3.86M.
10. Rounding out the top 10, The Dog Stars uncovered $259k this weekend, bringing its box office total to $1.10M.
