A young thief with a history of grand theft auto becomes an informant and helps police bring down a criminal enterprise involved in the smuggling of hundreds of exotic super cars. 

The decision to watcg Rev was a random decision while I was trying to find something to watch on Prime Video. I went into this completely unfamiliar with the Ant Horasanli’s work and unaware with most of actors’ work.
Horasanli delivered a slick movie (which i love from a crime movie) but not slick in a Hustle (a British TV series created by Tony Jordan that ran from 2004 to 2012) sort of way. I know it might be a little tropey but I love it when the main character gets voice overs. I also loved the movie references throughout the movie particularly the running Bad Boys joke. I loved the interview scene that introduced Vivica A. Fox’s character Detective Reid. The drifting sequence featuring Hannah Gordon’s Ava showed a level of creativity you don’t usually see in most romantic scenes. Yes, Rev has an intelligent ending that all decent crime movies should.
