Score 2/6

The surviving Garrity family must leave the safety of the Greenland bunker and embark on a perilous journey across the decimated frozen wasteland of Europe to find a new home.

When I found out that a sequel to Greenland had been made I was a little surprised, for the record no I don’t remember seeing any trailers popping up for it either online or at the cinemas. It was good to see that this wasn’t a sequel in name only (or if you prefer a faux sequel) and with the same period of time that passed between the releasing of the two movies actually having passed in the world of the movie. It was also good to see that both Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin reprised their roles as John and Allison Garrity. It was a slight shame that Roger Dale Floyd was replaced by Roman Griffin Davis as Nathan Garrity, simply because it’s always nicer when all the main characters return for the sequel (were possible). The filmmakers delivered a beautifully shot movie, I loved the English Channel sequence. The biggest problem that I had with the movie was that the filmmakers failed to do anything to make me give a dam about what happened to the characters.
