BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park has been named Australia’s best caravan and holiday park at the 2025 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards, marking the fourth consecutive year a BIG4 property has taken the national title. The Qantas Australian Tourism Awards celebrated excellence across 26 categories, with more than 170 finalists competing for national recognition. BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park claimed Gold, securing its first national title in recognition of its exceptional guest experience and commitment to continually raising the bar. The win extends an extraordinary run for the BIG4 network, following three consecutive Gold wins and Hall of Fame induction by BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday Resort in 2024. Set across 32 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens in Helensvale, BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park has built a reputation as a resort-style destination where families, couples and adventurers can experience everything the Gold Coast has to offer. From its sprawling water park, resort pool and jumping pillow, to dog-friendly cabins and a licensed poolside café, the park delivers an experience that keeps guests coming back year after year.
“This is something we’ve worked incredibly hard for, and to win Gold at the national level for the first time is a moment I’ll never forget. This award belongs to every single person on our team, who show up every day and pour their heart into creating an experience our guests truly love. It’s their commitment to delivering Magic in Every Stay that makes BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park so special. We’re incredibly proud of this achievement, and true to our spirit, we’re already thinking about how we go even bigger,” Lee Morgan, General Manager of BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park commented.

For BIG4 as a network, four consecutive Gold wins is a powerful statement. It speaks to a culture of excellence running right across the BIG4 family. From park owners and managers to the park teams who bring it to life on the ground every day. The result also reflects the broader strength of domestic tourism in Australia, with Australians increasingly choosing the caravan and holiday park experience not as a budget option, but as a destination in its own right.
“Four consecutive Gold wins at the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards is a remarkable achievement for our network, and one we’re enormously proud of. BIG4 Gold Coast has built something genuinely world-class – the kind of experience that sets the benchmark for what a great Australian holiday looks like. Lee and the team have earned this, and it’s a reflection of the passion and dedication that drives every park in our network. BIG4 parks are setting the standard for Australian holiday experiences, and we’re not done yet,” Sean Jenner, CEO of BIG4 Holiday Parks commented.
