Operating alone in the field for more than 20 years, a CIA hit-man uses the “Help Wanted” section of the newspapers to get his orders from the Agency. His long-lost daughter, now a UK MI6 analyst, tracks him down to deliver shocking news: his CIA boss has been dead for years and the division long since shut down. Together, they set out to discover whose orders he’s been executing.

Okay, it’s been more than a few years since I last watched a movie directed by Roel Reiné and I find that a movie directed by Reiné is an okay choice, especially if you’re looking for a ‘B-Grade’ movie to pass the time. I will admit that the filmmakers offered up an interesting concept with a CIA hit-man using the “Help Wanted” section of the newspapers to get his orders from the Agency. Especially considering that we have reached a time where the help wanted section in a newspaper is as old school as Aaron Eckhart’s Evan Shaw. My biggest complaint was that Classified failed to get out of first gear which is a problem considering this is supposed to be a thriller/Action. Now, it was good to see Abigail Breslin in an action movie, I haven’t seen her in action for more than a few years. I couldn’t help but think that Breslin was a poor casting choice opposite Aaron Eckhart. There were times that I thought the way Breslin was shot made her look significantly younger than what her character was supposed to look.
