When a female assassin diagnosed with terminal cancer decides to carry out one more job assisted by her Stepson and lover Mikey.
Shadow Boxer is an interesting movie with how it relates the idea of contract killing to the concept of an after-life, when you would expect an assassin at the end of their life to have a rather pragmatic approach to their own death and that they would be less likely to question their own mortality. Another aspect of the film that intrigued me was the relationship between Rose and Mikey.
Macy Grey has amazing comic skills that are worth watching, Stephen Dorf has a great almost psychotic edge that he brought to this film and I am eager to see what kind of career the young Shaun Brewington has ahead of him.
