Circus of Illusion Coming to QPAC

EBON RINGMASTERWelcome to the spectacular world of sequins, sawdust and magic – Circus of Illusion, playing April 11 and 12 in the Concert Hall at QPAC. The pure spectacle of death defying escapes, mind-blowing illusions, mime and magic, as well as the incredible costumes, will keep you on the edge of your seat. It’s the show we all need right now – uplifting, whimsical, wonderful, over the top and spectacular, and it stars world-class artists from Queensland.

Celebrated Ringmaster Ebon Grayman will keep audiences captivated with his expressive and eccentric character comedy. He enthralled audiences all over the world as part of Cirque du Soleil’s famed Alegria. The Temple University graduate stunned as the show’s principal character Monsieur Fleur until 2003, when he went on to perform in another Cirque du Soleil show, Humanity, where he held the role of Half Man/Half Beast “The Faun”, as well as an aerialist.
Acclaimed illusionist and Australia’s Got Talent finalist Michael Boyd will present death-defying escapes and ingenious illusions that will leave audiences in awe.
Also starring is an incredible duo from Perth. Cameo Rascale is an internationally acclaimed acrobatic, comedy and juggling act. In 2009 the family acrobatic act made it through to the Grand Final of Australia’s Got Talent, with the talented duo of James Capener and Rebecca Borromei bringing a new dynamic of exciting skills to the stage.
