Paddington 2 Advance Screenings to help Raise Money for Children’s Hospitals

Paddington 2, the follow up to the 2014 smash hit family film, will make its big screen debut on Sunday 3 December at a variety of Village Cinema and Event Cinemas locations nationwide in exclusive advance screenings to help raise money for children’s hospitals around Australia.
This type of support means cinema goers will not only be the first to see the highly anticipated sequel to the worldwide hit family film, but each ticket holder will also be contributing towards a great cause – helping the health and well-being of Australia’s sickest children. Mohit Bhargeva, General Manager of Sales and Marketing says “Countless memories have been created in our cinemas. We’re proud to have played a part in these moments and are committed to continuously creating new ways to make the cinema experience more meaningful.”

The much-anticipated sequel looks every bit as charming and whimsical as the first film, and finds Paddington happily settled with the Brown family in Windsor Gardens, where he has become a popular member of the community, spreading joy and marmalade wherever he goes. While searching for the perfect present for his beloved Aunt Lucy’s 100th birthday, he spots a unique popup book in Mr. Gruber’s antique shop, and embarks upon a series of odd jobs to buy it. But when the book is stolen, it’s up to Paddington and the Browns to unmask the culprit. Ben Whishaw is again voicing the titular mischief-maker, with Hugh Grant and Brendan Gleeson joining the cast.
