When her boyfriend dumps her before their exotic vacation, a young woman persuades her ultra-cautious mother to travel with her to paradise, with unexpected results.

It’s a long running joke by one of my cousins that I suffer for my art. Now reviewing movies might not necessarily be an art form after watching Snatched I do kind of get her point and say that there are indeed some movies with the capability to make a poor unprepared reviewer snap (I would like to report that the grasp I have on my sanity however loose it maybe is still intact). I would also like to say that there are certain filmmakers who were involved with the making of this movie will at some point make a movie that is worth watching.

Snatched had a lot going for it, with a decent enough concept, a brilliant cast in the form of Amy Schumer, Goldie Hawn, Ike Barinholtz and Wanda Sykes. It just lacked a little something in its overall execution and even with some of the most talented comic actors that you can find and the movie’s overall sense of humor can at best be described as being pathetic with a side of meh. Snatched attempted to redeem itself with its finale but the damage was already done.
