Alright, this franchise has become a moneymaking behemoth that is showing no signs of going away about to rival the length of The Friday the 13th franchise (it seems if the filmmakers have their way). There are a lot of things that are wrong with this franchise most notably that it should have been ended with the 2015 release Furious 7 and the fact that it seemed to have something equivalent to a midlife crisis with the release of its fifth movie (not including the short movies and lets not even mention the franchise’s ‘special’ timeline).

Now, I am perfectly willing to watch a movie that is a little fast and loose when in it comes to the concept of ‘real world physics’. Now it might take me a little while to make my point so I do hope that your patient with me. This franchise needs to decide what kind of film franchise that it’s going to be, scale back the action somewhat so that the filmmakers can do something truly wild and wacky when they release the potential next movie and cause the audience to develop a little thing audience emotional involvement.
