For those of you who might interested Dominion was loosely based on the 2010 movie Legion which was directed by Scott Stewart. Dominion is further proof that even though Syfy has trouble producing decent movie they are very capable of producing binge worthy television series ( just the other day I watched four episodes straight of season one), though it should be noted that Dominion was cancelled after two seasons.
As an apocalyptic supernatural action series dealing with fallen angels goes Dominion does come across as having a tone that was little ‘light’ in places and perhaps I would have preferred something that had a similar tone to the 2007 movie Gabriel directed by Shane Abbess.
That being said there was a couple of decent performances most notably was Anthony Head as Senator David Whele who had a few properly creepy moments. It was also good to see Australian actor Christopher Egan in a lead role.
