Screen Australia has recently announced that four Australian films will have their Asian premieres at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), from 1 to 10 October in South Korea.
A spokesperson from Screen Australia explained that The Dressmaker, The Daughter, Last Cab to Darwin and Backtrack have been selected for BIFF, one of the biggest film festivals in Asia. The Dressmaker, The Daughter and Last Cab to Darwin will screen in the World Cinema section. And Backtrack will screen in the Midnight Passion section. The spokesperson also explained that all four films where funded with assistance from Screen Australia.
