Mobster and hit man Jimmy Conlon has one night to figure out where his loyalties lie: with his estranged son, Mike, whose life is in danger, or his long time best friend, mob boss Shawn Maguire, who wants Mike to pay for the death of his own son.

Ok, I know I should have put this one a couple of days ago, so this is a case of better late than never. This is the sixth movie that was directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and the third time that he has worked with Liam Neeson.
I was hooked and wanted to see this one when the first time that I saw one of the trailers. Though it should be noted that judging by the time frame the movie was set over it was going to have a faster pace than it actually did. Though even though the pace of the movie was a little more of a marathon then the sprint that I thought it was going to be Run All Night is still a very watchable movie. Collet-Serra delivered some interesting style with his transition shots.
Liam Neeson gave a great performance in a role that could be considered a variation of what we fell in love in the first of the Taken movies 7 years ago. Even though Nesson is brilliant in these ass kicking Action Thriller roles, personally I think I am going to have to see a few of his movies with him in a more dramatic roles because it seems that all the movies that I have seen recently starring Liam Nesson have been Action Thrillers.
