ABC TV is pleased to announce the much anticipated second season of Josh Thomas’ Please Like Me will premiere on Tuesday August 12 at 9.30pm on ABC2, along with premiere of the second season a third season has been commissioned by ABC TV, in collaboration with US television network, Pivot.

We learnt so much making season one and I think we really stepped it up in season two, and will hopefully do the same in season three. Please Like Me has been met with a level of critical acclaim it won the 2014 AACTA Award for Best Television Comedy Series, the AWGIE Award (Australian Writers’ Guild) for Best Comedy Script, and the ADG Award (Australian Directors’ Guild) for Best Direction in a TV Comedy and has been nominated for awards including the LOGIE for Outstanding Light Entertainment Program; the GLAAD Media Award (US) for Outstanding Comedy Series; and the forthcoming Rose D’Or Award for Best International Comedy Series.
