While still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors who want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven known only as Arcadia

There is a wide gap between liking a movie poster and actually liking the movie. The fourth instalment in the resident evil franchise seemed a little slow and forced in comparison to the other three movies in the franchise, for my taste. As expected, there are some intense action sequences, but the movie seemed to lack overall driving drama. However, I loved the performances given by Wentworth Miller and Shawn Roberts.
The “3D” added a little something extra to the action sequences, but honestly the movie would not have suffered if this was not released as a “3D” movie. If you are going to release a “3D” movie, consider how visually spectacular these movies need to be and offer something up that would rival James Cameron’s Avatar. Otherwise, “3D” movies will prove themselves to be nothing but a fad and pass away. With four movies down in the franchise, is it becoming difficult for the filmmakers to maintain this drama? I hope not. With things left to hint at the possibility of a sequel, I hope that Resident Evil: Afterlife is leading us up to something far more intense.
