Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

Without a doubt, Inception is the movie of the moment, and it was inevitable that I was going to get around to watching it. It is only a pity that, it took me so long to get my act together to go to the cinema to watch it. Ask yourself, could Inception be the next evolution of the ‘heist’ movie? I mean there is only so many times that you can watch a crew of jewel thieves use a wide ranges of gadgets to steal a fortune in gold or precious stones?
What I found to be the most appealing aspect of this movie was how Mal portrayed by Marion Cotillard lost her grip on reality and started to question what is real. The interesting point being that with some of the Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Games it is actually possible to lose yourself in a reality that may appear to be better than your own. With improvements in technology over time, perhaps it may even be possible to insert yourself in a reality similar to the dreaming technology in Inception because personally I think I can see attractive that might be.
It is interesting to note how Inception has captured our attention with feature stories that have been inspired by the dream technology portrayed within the movie have been occasionally creeping into news and current affairs programs on television.
