The Egyptian Queen Cleopatra bets against the Roman Emperor, Julius Caesar, that her people are still great, even if the times of the Pharaohs has long passed. She vows (against all logic) to build a new palace for Caesar within three months. Astérix and Obélix go to Egypt with the Druid Getafix to help architect Numérobis to build the palace.

Everybody should take the time and watch at least one of the Asterix & Obelix movies With all the energy of a fast paced cartoon this is a movie that will not disappoint you. Though keep in mind for those of you who do not speak fluent French make sure the DVD has an English soundtrack so you are not reading subtitles for the entire movie.
