This series was first seen on Australian television in 2007 with Nickelodeon Jr and then the ABC in 2008. The show won a BAFTA for Best International Children’s Show in the UK in 2008. They where also nominated for a Daytime EMMY for “Outstanding Achievement In Costume Design/Styling” in 2008 and 2009.

Yo Gabba Gabba has a broad appeal guest stars such as Jack Black, Rhys Darby from Flight of the Conchords and Elijah Wood as well as bands including The Tings Tings, MGMT and The Roots.
